About You

Qualifications

Here’s the deal: we care more about your attitude than your resume. If you’re dependable, hardworking, and eager to learn, we can teach you the rest.

What we’re looking for:

  • You show up ready to work and can be counted on.
  • You don’t mind physical work in all kinds of weather.
  • You’re a team player—you’ve got your crew’s back, and they’ve got yours.
  • You’re open to learning new skills and taking feedback.
  • You take pride in doing things the right way.

Nice to have (but not required):

  • Experience working with trees (pruning, debris clearing, removals).
  • Climbing experience
  • Comfort operating heavy machinery, aerial lift, or towing trailers.
  • CDL or ISA Certification.

These skills can bump up your starting pay, but if you don’t have them yet—don’t worry. We’ll help you get there.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for people who bring good energy, are ready to put in the work, and want to grow with us. What matters most is your mindset.

Our ideal crew members are:

  • Growth-Oriented – eager to learn new skills and take on new responsibilities.
  • Dependable & Responsible – you show up ready and can be counted on by your team.
  • Team Players – you work hard, support your crew, and bring positive energy.
  • Adaptable & Willing to Learn – you can handle challenges and take feedback with a can-do attitude.
  • Proud of Their Work – you like doing the job right and feel good about a day well done.
  • Ready for the Outdoors – comfortable with physical labor in all weather conditions.

Why Work at Alpine?

We’ve been family-owned since 1984, and we treat our crew like family too. We take pride in our work, we look out for each other, and we believe in doing the job right.

When you join Alpine, you’re starting a career with a company that’s here to support you. And you’ll get to work outdoors, build new skills, and finish each day knowing you made a difference in keeping our communities safe and beautiful.

What You’ll Do

Every day is different at Alpine. Some days you’ll be trimming or pruning trees to keep them healthy and beautiful. Other days you might be helping with a large removal, running equipment, or grinding stumps. Sometimes, you’ll do all of it in one day.

You’ll get hands-on experience with:

  • Tree pruning and removals
  • Operating equipment like chippers, stump grinders, aerial lifts, and (if you’re qualified) our crane
  • Maintaining and caring for the gear and tools that keep our work safe and efficient

It’s challenging work, but it’s rewarding too—you’ll see the results at the end of every day and know you’ve made a real difference in the landscapes around you.

What We Offer

  • Competitive pay DOE (depending on experience)
  • Paid Holidays & Vacation
  • Paid Sick Leave
  • Health Insurance
  • 401(k) with Employer Match
  • Access to a Company Ski Pass (yes, we work hard, but we play hard too)
  • On-the-job training
  • Gear stipend
  • Certification support (Want to get your ISA Cert, CDL, or other credentials? We’ll help cover the costs.)

Tree work can be tough, but you’ll have a solid team beside you every step of the way. At Alpine, we believe that when we invest in our crew, everyone wins.
