Our Process
Tree Care That’s Thoughtful from Bid Request to Job Completion
At Alpine Tree Service, every client and every tree deserves careful attention. That’s why our process is designed to be thorough, transparent, and focused on safety and long-term tree health. We don’t rush jobs or cut corners — instead, we take the time to do things right. It means your project might not happen the very next day, but it also means you’ll have the confidence of knowing your trees and property are in the best hands.
Step 1: Request a Free Bid
It all starts with reaching out. You can call our office or fill out a request online, and our scheduler will review the details of your project. From there, we’ll connect you with one of our bidders who hold an ISA certification and schedule a time for them to visit your property.
Appointments are usually set within a few days, but can be up to two weeks out, depending on the season and availability (winter is often quicker, while summer and fall can be busier).
Step 2: Meet with a Certified Arborist
When it’s time for your appointment, an ISA Certified Arborist will come to your property. During the visit, they’ll:
- Walk the property with you and listen to your goals.
- Respect your directions and concerns.
- Share professional recommendations based on tree health, safety, and long-term care.
This is your chance to get expert guidance and peace of mind. Our arborists don’t just look at the immediate request — they consider the bigger picture for your trees and your property.
Step 3: Receive Your Bid
After the visit, your arborist will write up a detailed bid. We keep things clear and straightforward — no hidden fees or confusing language. Just the information you need to make the best decision for your trees.
Step 4: Scheduling the Work
Once you approve the bid, we’ll schedule the work. This step takes thoughtful planning. The timeline depends on a few factors:
- Season and workload — During peak times, projects may be scheduled out several weeks or months.
- Scope of the job — Some projects take just a few hours, while larger removals may require several consecutive days.
- Crew and equipment planning — For big projects, we make sure our full crew and equipment (including our crane when needed) are available so the job is done safely and efficiently.
We understand waiting can be hard, but this careful planning ensures a job done to the best and safest extent possible, guaranteeing your property and your trees get the full attention they deserve.
Step 5: Professional Tree Work
When the scheduled day arrives, our skilled crew comes prepared. We bring the right equipment, follow strict safety standards, and complete the work with precision. Whether it’s a pruning job, a large removal, or a complex crane-assisted project, you can trust that it’s being handled by experts who care.
Step 6: Cleanup & Follow-Up
We’re known for our cleanup. Once the work is complete, we clear away all debris and leave your property looking neat and cared for. Afterward, we’ll send your invoice and check in to make sure everything meets your expectations.
